Accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology. (ACCSCT) Augusta School of Massage has been recognized by ACCSCT as a 2005 School of Distinction.
At its June 22, 2005 Annual Business Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT) recognized Augusta School of Massage located in Evans, Georgia as a 2005 ACCSCT School of Distinction.
The ACCSCT School of Distinction Award recognizes those accredited member schools that have demonstrated a commitment to the expectations and rigors of ACCSCT accreditation, as well as a commitment to delivering quality educational programs to the students, graduates and employers that deserve our best work. Through this award, it is ACCSCT's intent to recognize the importance of this significant achievement, including completing the accreditation process without stipulation and having been timely in the submission of the fees and reports required of an ACCSCT accredited institution.
For more than 35 years, ACCSCT has been at the forefront of establishing and advancing quality education at private, postsecondary career schools and colleges. ACCSCT is recognized by the United States Department of Education as a private, non-profit, independent accrediting agency. In December of 2004, the National Advisory Committee on Institution Quality and Integrity voted to recommend to the United States Secretary of Education that ACCSCT's recognition period be renewed for five years, the maximum time period allowed under the Higher Education Act, without any additional reporting requirement. ACCSCT's goal is to ensure a high standard of educational quality in the career schools we accredit, by requiring compliance with industry accepted standards and adherence to the ethical business practices. ACCSCT is dedicated to ensuring this quality education for more than 300,000 students who annually pursue career education at more than 800 accredited institutions.
