Foundations Intensive for Holistic Aromatherapy with Jade Shutes

Who is this program for?

The Foundations program has been written for Massage Therapists, Nurses, Healthcare providers, and individuals interested in learning how to use aromatic remedies in the home for family and friends.  It is also beneficial for those who have a general interest in the subject as well.

Is this a certificate program?

Yes.  This course is a Certificate program and fulfills the requirements of Level One Certification as established by the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy.  Upon successful completion of the course, you will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement in Foundations of Aromatherapy.

Continuing Education Hours:

Massage Therapists: 30 CE hours                                                                                         For Aromatherapy: 40 hours includes 10 hours case study time.

Tuition:

$400 if registered by March 12, 2010 **Plus $50 materials fee 

$450 after March 12, 2010 **Plus $50 materials fee

A $50 processing fee will be assessed for refunds after March 12, 2010.  No refunds will be issued after March 19, 2010.

About Jade Shutes:

 Jade holds a Diploma in Holistic Aromatherapy, Holistic Massage, Anatom and Physiology, and Reflexology from the Raworth College of Natural Medicine in Dorking, UK, and a Diploma in Aromatherapy from the International Therapist Examining board (ITEC).  She has studied with Jan Kusmireck of Fragrant Studies and has completed Part One of Purdue University Advanced Studies of Essential Oils.  She has been practicing and studying forms of natural healing for more than a decade, and was one of the vanguard of professionals who helped inroduce aromatherapy to the United States.  She has been an aromatherapy educator, activist, and practioner for over nineteen years, opening her first aromatherapy school in the New England area in 1990.  She is co-author of the new "Aromatherapy for Bodyworkers" textbook published by PrenticeHall.
